Meet Our Talented Director Camilo Rodriguez
Camilo Rodriguez is a Colombian-Canadian writer, director, and editor with a passion for ill-fated characters and magical realism. With experience in narrative short films, music videos, and TV series, Camilo is currently working on a sci-fi drama TV series project for his MFA thesis at York University.
With a dynamic blend of creativity and technical expertise, Camilo Rodriguez stands out as a versatile force in the media industry. Specializing in directing, producing, and editing, Camilo brings a wealth of experience to a diverse array of projects, from short films and music videos to corporate and web-based content. His impressive portfolio includes collaborations with major television broadcasters and leading studio facilities for digital production.
As a director and producer, Camilo has crafted eight compelling short films and two captivating music videos. Notably, his video for James Brown's "Try Me" was chosen by Saatchi & Saatchi, BUG, and Universal Music as the official visual for this iconic track. Additionally, he has showcased his editing skills on two Netflix TV series produced by CMO Producciones and Caracol Television in Colombia: "Fugitives" (40 episodes) and "The Girl" (84 episodes).
